Ilene Rosen, coordinator the Annual Memorial Golf Fundraiser for Eden Schools, introduced Jordan to their newest fundraiser "Easter Egg Hunt for City Access." The fundraiser for the Children of the Blind research was a roaring success and took place at Commons Cafe in Staten Island. During the easter egg hunt, not just regular easter eggs were placed in a field, there were beeping eggs as well so every child could participate.
The Easter Egg Hunt for City Access was a great opportunity to gain exposure for blind children and children with autism, and for some holiday inspired fun.
While filming the Easter Egg hunt, Jordan met the President of City Access, Holly Bonner, to discuss the fundraiser and future progress of city access. City Access New York promotes lifelong access to educational, vocational and cultural programs for New Yorkers of all abilities. City Access NY is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that identifies barriers to participation, in schools and in the community, and adapts the content and delivery of programs to the diverse needs of people with disabilities.
